Profitabul, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our trading analytics platform and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

We may collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Register for an account
  • Subscribe to our newsletter or product updates
  • Contact us for support
  • Participate in surveys or promotions

This information may include: name, email address, username, password, and any other information you choose to provide.

2.2 Trading Data

When you use our Service, we collect and store your trading-related information, including but not limited to:

  • Trade execution data (entries, exits, symbols, quantities, prices)
  • Trading journal entries and notes
  • Performance metrics and analytics
  • Broker connection credentials (encrypted)
  • Custom tags, strategies, and categorizations

2.3 Usage Information

We automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with our Service:

  • Device information (IP address, browser type, operating system)
  • Usage data (pages viewed, features used, time spent)
  • Log data (access times, error logs)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our Service
  • To process your transactions and manage your account
  • To generate analytics and insights about your trading performance
  • To send you technical notices, updates, and support messages

  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage. This includes:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Regular security assessments and updates
  • Access controls and authentication mechanisms
  • Secure cloud infrastructure with industry-leading providers
  • Regular backups and disaster recovery procedures

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, including Supabase and Vercel
  • Payment processors and billing services, including Stripe
  • Analytics, reliability, and feature-delivery providers, including Vercel Analytics, Sentry, and LaunchDarkly
  • AI, market-data, and broker-integration providers when you use those features, including OpenAI and connected broker platforms
  • Customer support, community, and communication tools
  • Optional marketing and advertising providers, such as Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok, only after marketing consent and when enabled

These service providers are bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

5.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

Signed-in users can download a portable JSON export from Security Settings. You can also request correction, restriction, objection, or full account deletion by emailing privacy@profitabul.com. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Some billing, tax, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, and broker-side records may be retained where required by law or provider policies.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication, security, billing, and core service functionality. Optional analytics, masked session replay, and advertising pixels are disabled unless you consent through our cookie preferences controls. First-party affiliate link attribution may be recorded when you click a partner link so we can credit that partner.

We process service data to perform our contract with you, protect the Service, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests such as product reliability. Where required, we rely on your consent for non-essential analytics and marketing technologies. Some providers process data in the United States or other countries, and we use contractual safeguards such as data processing terms and standard contractual clauses where applicable.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

9. Profitabul for TradingView (Browser Extension)

Profitabul for TradingView is an optional browser extension that displays Profitabul market analytics on TradingView charts at tradingview.com. This section describes the information the extension handles. The rest of this Privacy Policy also applies to it; where this section is stricter, this section governs information received through the extension.

9.1 Information the Extension Handles

  • Account information: when you sign in, the extension receives your Profitabul account email address and your entitlement status (whether your plan includes the extension), so it can show who is signed in and whether levels are available.
  • Chart symbols: to fetch levels, the extension sends us the Profitabul symbol that each open TradingView chart corresponds to (for example ES or SPX) and, for futures charts, the chart's contract month, along with the display options that change which levels are returned. Charts of symbols we do not cover are never sent.
  • Technical and log data: like any request to our servers, requests from the extension include your IP address, browser user-agent, and request time. We record these in server logs and access records and use them for security, abuse prevention, rate limiting, and access auditing. We also record a session identifier for each browser you sign in from, to enforce the limit on how many browsers can use your account at the same time.
  • Display settings: your display preferences are stored in the extension's storage in your browser. If you use your browser's sync feature, your browser may sync them across your own devices. We receive only the options that change which levels are returned, as described above; the rest, such as label and status-chip choices, stay in your browser.

9.2 What the Extension Does Not Collect

To place lines on a chart, the extension reads, on your device only, the chart's symbol information (including whether its data is delayed or currency-converted), price scale, pane size, replay state, and theme, plus the names of the indicators on the chart (only to detect Profitabul's older GEX Levels indicator and suggest removing it). Of this, only the Profitabul symbol and contract month described above ever leave your device. The extension does not:

  • read or collect your TradingView username, password, cookies, or account details;
  • read, store, or transmit TradingView market data such as bars, prices, or quotes, or use TradingView prices in any calculation;
  • collect or send us your drawings, indicators, layouts, watchlists, alerts, or orders, or change them;
  • collect your browsing history or your activity on other websites; it runs only on TradingView chart pages;
  • send us your pointer, scroll, or keystroke activity; pointer position is used only on your device to show level details.

9.3 Sign-In and Token Storage

You sign in on a Profitabul sign-in page that your browser opens; the extension never sees your Profitabul password. After you sign in, the extension receives access and refresh tokens and stores them only in its own storage in your browser, which websites, including TradingView, cannot read. Signing out of the extension deletes these tokens and ends that sign-in session. Signing out of Profitabul on the web may also sign the extension out. Uninstalling the extension removes the tokens and its other locally stored data from that browser.

9.4 How We Use This Information

We use information received through the extension only to provide and improve its single purpose: signing you in, confirming that your plan includes the extension, delivering levels for your charts, keeping the service secure and available (including rate limits and the limit on simultaneous browsers), and supporting you. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build profiles unrelated to the extension.

9.5 Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Profitabul for TradingView adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we:

  • use this information only to provide or improve the extension's single purpose described above;
  • transfer it to others only when necessary to provide or improve that purpose (for example, to the service providers that host our servers), to comply with applicable law, to protect against malware, spam, phishing, fraud, or abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets after obtaining your explicit prior consent;
  • do not transfer, use, or sell it for personalized advertising, and do not transfer or sell it to advertising platforms, data brokers, or other information resellers;
  • do not transfer, use, or sell it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes;
  • do not allow humans to read it unless you give explicit consent for specific data, it is necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or it is aggregated and anonymized and used for internal operations.

9.6 TradingView

Profitabul for TradingView is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TradingView, Inc. TradingView's own privacy policy governs how TradingView handles your information when you use its website.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
