Paper Trading

Paper trading lets you practice without risking real money. Orders are filled against simulated market data, giving you a realistic experience to learn the platform and test strategies before going live.

Auto-Journal

Every paper trade is automatically logged to your journal for later review and analysis

Market Order — Executes immediately at the best available price. Use when you need a guaranteed fill and speed matters more than price.
Limit Order — Executes only at your specified price or better. Use when you want a specific entry/exit price and are willing to wait.
Stop Order — Becomes a market order when the stop price is reached. Use for stop-losses or breakout entries.
Stop-Limit Order — Becomes a limit order when the stop price is reached. Combines price protection with trigger logic, but may not fill in fast markets.
Trailing Stop — A stop that follows the market by a fixed offset. Locks in profits as price moves in your favor while protecting against reversals.

Broker Integrations

Connect supported live broker accounts through Edgeable in Settings > Integrations. Edgeable manages broker authentication and connected-account sessions; market-data providers remain a separate setting.

ProjectX powers prop firm platforms like TopstepX and Tradeify. Connect your account through Edgeable to trade live with supported order management.

  • Supported features: Edgeable order entry, position tracking, and journal sync
  • Account selection: Select an account returned by Edgeable

Rithmic is used by professional futures traders and prop firms. Broker account connection and supported live actions are provided through Edgeable; market-data feeds remain a separate provider path.

  • Supported features: Edgeable account selection and supported order management
  • Market data: Configure any market-data provider separately from broker execution

Tradovate is available as an Edgeable-connected broker identity. Edgeable manages the broker connection and account session; existing historical rows remain available in your journal.

  • Trade history: Refresh history from the Edgeable-connected account or import a CSV
  • Execution: Live account actions are routed through Edgeable
